ReadCube is an AI-powered literature management and systematic review platform helping researchers discover, organize, understand and synthesize research materials so they can make tomorrow’s discoveries faster.
The Challenge
After launching integrated AI functionality across the entire user experience, ReadCube needed to show how the platform works as an end-to-end literature management solution. The challenge then was to communicate everything that the platform could do in a single piece of content without it feeling overly complex or dry. They also wanted to bring the brand – which has otherwise been quite creatively pared back – to life in video form.
The Solution
We produced an explainer video reintroducing the product and positioning it as an all-in-one tool for finding, managing, analyzing, and synthesizing research to arrive at breakthroughs faster. Working closely with the client, we crafted a concise but comprehensive story that shows how researchers move from articles to reports in just a few steps, with AI woven throughout to simplify every task. Through deep immersion in the product and UI, we transformed real features and processes into a fluid, engaging experience.

The Impact
In addition to a new motion language, which can be explored across all digital and video touch points, ReadCube now has a clear and concise product story – including messaging for all key functionality and how AI is woven throughout the research workflow. The hero video is flexible and multi-purpose, meaning it can be used on sales calls, for promotional purposes, in marketing, and even for onboarding new users.
